Menorah
Great quality and is as good as it looks. A gift or keepsake or for your mantle that will definitely be a conversation starter.
The menorah was one of the pieces of furniture in the tabernacle. Though its shape is known, the Bible does not give the size of the menorah. However, a depiction of the menorah (and thus its size) can be seen on the Arch of Titus. This arch was built to commemorate the Roman General Titus's conquest of Jerusalem and the plunder of the temple and its artifacts. The menorah in this set was designed based on a careful study of that monument.
The menorah was the only light in the tabernacle. It was to burn continuously. Christians believe it is a picture of Jesus, who said,
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12 (NIV)
It is understood that, just as the menorah was the only light in the tabernacle, so Jesus Christ is the only one who can tell us how to walk in this world, the only one who can give us the true path to eternal life.
The menorah is 1:10 in scale and constructed of metal and electroplated in gold. It was not easy to replicate. We spent hours studying the relief on the Arch of Titus. Since the Bible gives no dimensions for the menorah, we compared it to the people portrayed on the arch and designed it proportionately. (Dimensions: 10.2 cm x 6 cm x 13.5 cm. 4" x 2.4" x 5.3")
The menorah is packed in a box and can be presented as a gift. It is included in the following sets:

I have been to Jerusalem numerous times and am very familiar with the Temple menorah near the Hurva synagogue. But I consider the menorah on the Arch of Titus to be more authentic, and the replica from Goodseed is excellent. The small size is very convenient, so this year it will be placed right next to my Chanukah menorah, and then I will have all angles covered! Thank you.
There are many menorah's but nothing like this. Now if we could only get the Table of Show Bread and or the Altar of Incense separately that would be AWESOME!
Love the quality of this!
This is an amazingly beautiful replica of the menorah! I have the entire Tabernacle Set that GoodSeed makes, and it is awesome, but I’m glad I can get the menorah by itself to give as gifts to my pastor and some family and friends. (Originally posted on November 28, 2009)
